<p>The invention relates to a telecommunications device comprising means, such as connector strips (3, 6) or the like, for making a cross-connection/connection of telecommunications cables (1, 2). For shielding the equipment against electromagnetic radiation and electrostatic discharges, a separate connection/cross-connection space for cables is provided, comprising an interference-shielded enclosure (5, 8) containing substantially all cross-connection/connection means (3, 6) of the equipment, and that the cables (1, 2) to be lead into the enclosure (5, 8) are grounded to said enclosure (5, 8).</p> |
