<p>An air-conditioning and pressurisation method and apparatus for circulating air through a partially enclosed space (E) comprising a number of areas (Z1, Z2, Z3). According to the method, air is compressed and cooled before being fed to each area of the space; the air is partially decompressed and cooled after compression then decompressed a second time as it enters each of said areas (Z1, Z2, Z3) making up the partially enclosed space. The apparatus for carrying out the method includes an upstream air compression and cooling assembly (CR) and a downstream air feed circuit (22) for feeding air to each area of said space. A turbo-engine (TM) is provided at the inlet to each area and connected to the air feed circuit to locally decompress the air flow to the area in question while generating work.</p> |
