An attachment device (2) for providing a manually-operated two wheeled golf trolley (4) with a third wheel (28) and thereby facilitating movement of the golf trolley (4) over a golf course, which attachment device (2) comprises a wheel (28), wheel support means (30), and mounting means (32) for mounting the attachment device (2) to a frame member (14) of the golf trolley (4), and the mounting means (32) being a releasable mounting means (32) whereby the attachment device (2) is able to be mounted on the golf trolley (4) in order to provide the third wheel (28) and whereby the attachment device (2) is able to be demounted from the golf trolley (4) and mounted on another manually-operated two wheeled golf trolley in the event that an owner of the attachment device (2) should purchase a new golf trolley.
