The invention relates to a method for decontaminating a fermentation medium characterized in that, before or during the introduction of the fermentation inoculum, the medium is brought in intimate contact with solid elements comprising receptors which are normally present on the envelopes of the inoculum bacteria, during a time sufficient to provide for the binding of contaminants, particularly the phages. The invention also discloses a product which provides for the implementation of such method. |
