PURPOSE:To highly produce free protein A in vitro and collecting free protein A, by cultivating a novel bacterium strain belonging to the genus Staphylococcus. CONSTITUTION:A novel bacterium strain Staphylococcus aureus Cowan KS-1030 (FERM P-9517) obtained by subjecting Staphylococcus aureus Cowan I to variation treatment is cultivated in a proper culture medium at near 37 deg.C for 6-96hr and the resultant free protein A is collected from culture filtrate. |
