PURPOSE:To provide a weather strip installation structure for automobile which can set the springy contact force to a car body of the weather strip within the allowable range of set value by setting the installation angle for the channel bottom part of the weather strip according to the dispersion in the installation gap for the car body of a door. CONSTITUTION:As far a weather strip which consists of an installation base part 18a having a nearly T shaped section and a sealing part 18b which is continuously installed at the installation base part 18a, a channel 13 having a U shaped section is installed integrally on the peripheral surface of a door sash 11b, and the installation base part 18a is fitted in the channel 13, and the installation grooves 14-17 for the fitting of the projection parts 18c and 18d on both the sides of the installation base part 18a are formed, keeping an interval, on the channel bottom part 13a side in both the side parts of the channel 13. |
