PURPOSE:To provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet enhanced in adhesive power between a substrate sheet and a lubricating layer in a thermal transfer image receiving sheet provided with a dye accepting layer on one surface of the substrate sheet and the lubricating layer on the other surface of the substrate sheet. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal transfer image receiving sheet provided with a dye accepting layer 2 on one surface of a substrate sheet 1 and the lubricating layer 4 on the other surface of the substrate sheet, an intermediate layer 3 of a reactive curing resin is provided between the substrate sheet 1 and the lubricating layer 4.
