PURPOSE:To provide a probe for a laser therapy device which can efficiently irradiate laser beam in a wide range on the skin surface and is provided with the safety function. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of semiconductor laser elements 11 are arranged in a straight line form in a case 10 having a laser beam radiation port 14, which is formed in the vicinity of the element 11 and has a slender shape set along the arrangement of the elements 11, and a pair of photosensors 17 for controlling the supply of electricity to the element 11 are arranged in the vicinity of both the edge parts in the longitudinal direction of the radiation port 14. Accordingly, the laser beam radiated from a plurality of elements 11 is irradiated in a band shape onto the skin surface A through the slender radiation port 14, and used in a suitable manner for the therapy of the skin disease. Also in the case where only one side of the radiation port 14 is separated from the skin surface A, laser beam is not radiated, and the danger due to the erroneous radiation of the laser beam can be reduced drastically. |
