PURPOSE:To prevent the precipitation and adhesion of an ammonium salt by providing the denitrification equipment with a precipitation detecting means for detecting the progressing state of the precipitation of the ammonium salt in a discharge path or denitrator and providing the equipment with a heating means for heating exhaust gases to a precipitation temp. or above in accordance with the information detected by this precipitation detecting means. CONSTITUTION:A discharge path 4 from a diesel engine 2 for driving a generator 1 is provided with the denitrator 3 for reducing and removing the NOX in engine exhaust gases and is provided with a generating agent injector 5 which injects a reducing gas generating agent for generating a reducing gas for catalyst denitrification by being heated by the engine exhaust gases into the engine exhaust gases. This denitrification equipment for a power plant is provided with the precipitation detecting means (e.g. temp. sensor Ss) for detecting the progressing state of the precipitation of the ammonium salt within the discharge path 4 or the denitrator 3 and is provided with the heating means (e.g. electric heater 10) for heating the exhaust gases to the information detected by the precipitation detecting means. |
