<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the outflow of scum and granule sludge outside the reaction chamber by providing the upper part of a three-phase separating section provided above a methane fermentation granule forming section with a water spraying means for breaking down the scum layer deposited within this three-phase separating section. CONSTITUTION:The org. matter in org. waste water contg. SS is rapidly converted to gaseous methane by methane fermentation bacteria, etc., at the time the org. matter in the waste water passes the granule deposited layer 3 formed in the bottom of a reaction chamber body 1 when the waste water is supplied from an introducing pipe 2 as a raw water supply section provided in the bottom of the reaction chamber body 1. The SS sticks to this gaseous methane. The SS floats in the reaction chamber body 1. The sludge of the methane fermentation granule bacteria floats by carrying the SS stuck with the gaseous methane in the three-phase separating section 6 and deposits therein, thereby forming the scum layer 12. Water is sprayed from a pipe 7 for water spraying before the scum layer 12 grows to a specified layer thickness, by which the scum layer 12 is broken down and is separated to gas and solid.</p> |
