PURPOSE:To keep the function of a mechanism part by setting the synthetic resin molded hollow member preliminarily brought into close contact with a mechanism part receiving part to a mold and injecting a soft polyurethane foamable raw soln. into the mold to cure the same under heating and cutting a part of the hollow member after demolding to mount the necessary mechanism part on the cut part of the hollow member. CONSTITUTION:The synthetic resin molded hollow member 4 preliminarily brought into close contact with a mechanism part receiving part 2 is set to a mold for a seat cushion pad. A soft polyurethane foamable raw soln. to be formed into a backrest cushion 1 is injected into the mold to be cured under heating and the molded one is demolded to form the backrest cushion 1 containing the hollow member 4. When a necessary mechanism part is mounted, the molded hollow member 4 is cut in a cutting part 7 and an unnecessary cut waste part 6 is removed from the cut-off gap and the necessary mechanism part is mounted on the hollow member from the gap. Therefore, the direct contact of the mechanism part with the urethane form 1 is avoided and the function of the mechanism part can be kept.
