PRODUCTION OF BINDER FOR GLASS FIBER NONWOVEN FABRIC AND GLASS FIBER NONWOVEN FABRIC

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide glass fiber nonwoven fabric advantageous in improvement of insulating properties of a laminate and suitable for a base material of a laminate and a binder therefor. CONSTITUTION:This method for producing a binder by adding an acid to a reaction product between an epoxy resin and an aliphatic amine involves a process for admixing and reacting an epoxysilane-based coupling agent or an aminosilane-based coupling agent reactive with the epoxy resin or the aliphatic amine with the reaction system between the epoxy resin and the aliphatic amine before addition of the acid so as to incorporate the silane coupling agent into the molecular structure of the epoxy resin as the binder.
