<p>PURPOSE:To produce a packing film having not only excellent weatherability and mechanical strength but also perfect biodegradability. CONSTITUTION:This film is obtained from an aliphatic polyester having repeating units represented by the formula O-CHR-CO (wherein R is H or a 1-3C alkyl) as major units. Since this film has perfect biodegradability, it degrades in the natural environment. Hence, even when the film is used in an application where the recovery of the film after use is impossible, it does not cause any problem concerning environmental pollution, etc. Therefore, this film is widely usable in various packaging applications.</p> |
