DECOMPOSITION OF ALIPHATIC POLYESTER WITH ANAEROBIC BACTERIA

PURPOSE:To provide a decomposition method for an aliphatic polyester practicable with reduced space and reduced energy under anaerobic condition. CONSTITUTION:An aliphatic polyester is decomposed by an anaerobic microorganism capable of decomposing an aliphatic polyester with the exception of an aliphatic polyester produced by microorganism. The method enables the prevention of injurious effects on the ecological system in a reclamation waste disposal of biodegradable plastics.
