MANUFACTURE OF PLATE-SHAPED BODY WITH RESIN FRAME

PURPOSE:To mode a resin under low pressure and protect a glass plate from getting cracked by injecting a thermoplastic resin forming a skin layer of a resin frame and a thermoplastic resin forming a core layer respectively at the given timing and molding the resin frame of double layer structure on the peripheral edge of the plate-shaped body. CONSTITUTION:A skin material and a core material are respectively melt by separate plasticizing units 11 and 12, and the skin material and the core material are injected into cavity spaces 9 formed on the peripheral edge of a plate-shaped body 5 disposed on a bottom force 2 and in a molding tool respectively by the given timing to integrate a resin frame 8 of double structure consisting of a skin layer 18 and a core layer 28 with the plate-shaped body 5. The skin material and the core material are injected into cavity spaces 9 formed by a mold 6 respectively by the given timing, and the resin frame 8 of double structure consisting of the skin layer 18 and the core layer 28 is molded and the plate-shaped body 5 is inserted therein to integrate the resin frame 8 with the plate-shaped body 5.
