METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONCURRENTLY PRINTING INDEX NUMBER ON INSPECTION REQUEST FORM AND SPECIMEN TUBE

PURPOSE:To automatically print an index number to both an inspection request form and a specimen tube so as to inspect a specimen based on the inspection request form or to smoothly collect and sum the inspecting results. CONSTITUTION:In association with printing by an inspection request form printing device which prints an index number input and set in a computer device part 20 to an inspection request form 24, a plurality of specimen tubes are inserted in a row to a rack 2 and transferred. During this time, the same index number as that of the inspection request form 24 is printed to the specimen tubes by an inkjet printer 22. When the rack 2 traverses in front of a printing head 29 of the inkjet printer 22 in the interlocking manner with printing, the computer device part 20 controls so that the same index number as that of the inspection request form 24 is printed to every specimen tube inserted in the rack 2.
