A method of treating human diseases resulting from calcium metabolism disorders which comprises administering to a subject having the disease an effective daily dose of 26,26,26,27,27,27-hexafluoro-1 alpha ,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol compound in an amount from about 0.05 mu g to about 2.0 mu g.
