PURPOSE:To provide a stratified injection device for fuel and water capable of maintaining such stable combustion in an engine as to reduce NOX, etc., remarkably without inducing poor combustion even when the amount of water injection is increased. CONSTITUTION:A stratified injection device for fuel and water is provided with a pressure regulating check valve located at the fuel delivery part of a fuel injection pump 1, multiple water filling parts 20a and 20b installed in a high-pressure oil path 6 passing through the fuel injection pump 1 and a fuel injection nozzle 7, a water supply device 30 to the water filling part, water filling check valves 21a and 21b and solenoid-operated valves 22a and 22b installed in a pipe passing through the multiple water filling parts and water supply device, and a control device 25 to output control signals for restricting the timing of filling water into multiple water filling parts. |
