PURPOSE:To provide a tension applying dancer roller device for a linear unit capable of variably applying tension of the unit arbitrarily even on the halfway of winding. CONSTITUTION:A linear unit tension applying dancer roller device, provided in the upstream of a winding bobbin 19 of winding a running linear unit 11 to have a dancer roller 13 for giving winding tension of the linear unit, is provided with a dancer roller control means for giving prescribed variable tension to the linear unit 11 in running while controlling this dancer roller 13 almost in a perpendicular direction by using a torque motor 21. This control means is constituted of the dancer roller 13, torque motor 21, dancer roller shaft 15, arm 16 and an arm shaft rotary angle detector 18. |
