PURPOSE:To print letters in the enlarged/reduced sizes, in the enlarged size optionally in the longitudinal/lateral directions, in the thick form, in the inclined state, in the decorative form, etc., from registered hand-written letters of a user. CONSTITUTION:The content of a document to be printed is stored in a document code buffer 2. When printing by a user's hand-writing character font is requested, a CPU 1 retrieves and takes out data wherein in stroke is recorded from a hand-writing character font storing area 4 in accordance with the content of the document code buffer 2, and sets the data in a printing buffer 6. If the recording data of the stroke for a code designated at the document code buffer 2 is not present in the storing area 4, the CPU 1 takes out a character font data of the raster type from a general character font storing area 3 sets the data in the printing buffer 6. The above process is repeated. When characters for one line are assembled, the CPU 1 generates a printing instruction to the printer 7. |
