<p>PURPOSE:To separate and convey various types of sheets with a uniform minimum required force in a sheet feeder using air suction force. CONSTITUTION:A sheet sucking/conveying means 101 is provided with suction opening areas 8a and suction opening areas 4a so that they are variably expanded as they are separated from an air suction blower 2 in the direction almost perpendicular to the conveying direction of sheets. The minimum required suction force is used, the suction pressure loss in the depth direction of sheets is unified, the suction force to sheets can be made constant, and sheets can be surely sucked and conveyed by a conveyor belt 4 regardless of the types of sheets.</p> |
