METHOD OF REGENERATING CERAMIC PARTICLES IMPREGNATED WITH SILVER NITRATE FOR REMOVING MERCURY FROM EXHAUST GAS

PURPOSE: To provide a method for regenerating ceramic particles impregnated with silver nitrate for removing mercury from waste gases wherein mercury is recovered and ceramic particles can be reused for adsorption of mercury. CONSTITUTION: Ceramic particles loaded with mercury are heated at 600-900 deg.C for separation of mercury. Subsequently, ceramic particles are impregnated with nitric acid and dried.
