摘要 PURPOSE:To provide the vapor metallized polypropylene (PP) film for impregnated capacitors having decreased cracks and defects of vapor deposited films and high reliability by vapor metallizing zink on the PP film adjusted in the N/C and O/C atom constitution ratio of the front layer to a specific range. CONSTITUTION:At least one surface of the biaxially oriented PP film are subjected to vapor deposition of the metal. The atomic constitution ratios of the front layers of the surfaces to be subjected to the vapor deposition of the metals are specified to a range of 0.05 to 0.25 number of N/number of C and 0.02 to 0.30 number of O/ number of C at this time. Zinc is used as the metal to be vapor deposited and the vapor deposited metallic film having <=7OMEGA/(square) film resistance value is formed. The atom constitution ratios of the front layer of the PP film is adjusted by subjecting, for example, the film to a corona discharge treatment in an atmosphere adjusted in the volumetric ratio of gaseous N2/CO2. The film is preferably treated down to about 10nm depth. As a result, the vapor deposited layer having uniform and high adhesive power is formed. This metal vapor deposition PP film is wound in lamination and is impregnated with a mineral oil impregnating agent, by which the impregnated film capacitor having the high reliability is obtd.
