PURPOSE:To provide an illumination device for a panel plate of a front door of a slot machine, which illuminates the panel plate uniformly without any uneven intensity of illumination. CONSTITUTION:A panel plate (for example upper panel plate 41, lower panel plate) is provided on the rear side with a thick transparent plate 91 having an inside plane as an irregular reflection surface. The transparent plate 91 is provided on the rear side with a reflective plate 92 having a mirror surface on the transparent plate 91 side. The transparent plate 91 is provided on the end with a rod-like cool cathode fluorescent lamp 93 covered with a cylindrical reflective tube 96 having a mirror surface on the inner surface. The end of the transparent plate 91 is adapted to abut against a slit provided along the axis of the reflective tube 96 and the transparent plate 91 has a reflective film 95 on the end opposed to the end abutting against the slit in the reflective tube. |
