<p>PURPOSE:To realize a compact and lightweight brushless motor drive device by fixing a power element which is adjacent to a stator in a housing and cool heat generation of the power element forcedly due to the action of a fan in accordance with rotation by forming a projection on the external surface of a rotor which opposes to the power element. CONSTITUTION:A nut screw 5 is screwed in a ball screw groove 3 of a steering shaft 1 via a ball 4. Also, a rotor 7 of a brushless motor 6 is connected to the nut screw 5. Further, the rotor 7 is opposed against a stator 13 in a housing 12 across the predetermined space. The stator 13 and a power element 15 in the housing 14 are connected electrically. In the above constitution, the power element 15 is adjacent to and fixed on the stator 13 in the housing 16 to realize a compact and light-weight device. A projection 17 is formed on the external surface of the rotor 7 which opposes to the power element 15, and heat generation of the power element 15 is cooled forcedly due to the action of a fan in accordance with its rotation.</p> |
