<p>Overhead shears for metal bands in movement in a production line comprising first top knife means 16b and second bottom knife means 16a, each respectively associated with its own knife-holder frame 35b, 35a, temporarily co-operating with a band 11 in movement, said knife means 16 being located respectively below 16a and above 16b the plane of movement of the band 11, at least one knife-holder frame 15b being associated with a pair of opposed side connecting rods 12b, co-operating with a pair of opposed cranks 21 with rotation shaft 34 and connected to each other by a connection shaft 20, said side connecting rods 12b being hinged at the other end with a rotation pin 13 reciprocally mobile in a longitudinal direction in a plane substantially parallel to the plane of movement of the band 11 to be cut, said rotation pin 13 being associated with means of positioning and moving the knife-holder frame 35a associated with second bottom knife means 16a. <IMAGE></p> |
