SUPER THERMOSTABLE BETA-GALACTOSIDASE GENE

PURPOSE:To obtain an industrial method for producing a super thermostable beta-galactosidase by using an isolated super thermostable beta-galactosidase gene. CONSTITUTION:This super thermostable beta-galactosidase gene is capable of coding a super thermostable beta-galactosidase having an amino acid sequence (having 510 sequence length) expressed by sequence No.1 in the sequence table. The super thermostable beta-galactosidase gene is capable of hybridizing with the gene. Furthermore, this method for producing the super thermostable beta- galactosidase comprises culturing a transformant in which a recombinant plasmid contains the gene transduced thereinto.
