A tubular unit which can be laid out flat, is extruded from thermoplastic synthetic material and has cable conduits, connecting webs and tube bundle closure laminates, which tubular unit can be assembled with the connecting webs being formed and the tubular bundle closure laminates being welded to form a cable conduit. The tubular bundle closure laminates have longitudinally running welding profiles on their longitudinal edge, which profiles have a cross-section in the form of part of a circle. The welding profiles in the cable conduit bundle can be welded to form a common welded bead.
