The invention relates to a bucket with a stackable lid, in particular with a cup-shaped lid having an inner flange and a supporting edge arranged adjacent to the latter, in which the lid has an attachment edge with an edge which is open towards the bottom in the position of use and which can be connected in a positive-locking manner to an outer attachment edge of the bucket, and whose downwardly open edge is provided with a catch bead which engages below the edge of the bucket, the bucket and the lid preferably having an oval cross-section. The invention is intended to provide a bucket with a stackable lid, which in particular allows satisfactory stacking of any number of lids one above the other, and in which the lid has a large load-bearing capacity with little tendency to become soiled. The object is achieved in that the inner flange (4) of the lid (1) is provided with cutouts in the form of depressions (6) which extend into the latter, in that webs (7) running substantially parallel to the depressions (6) are arranged in the region of the depressions (6) on the underside of the lid (1), and in that the webs (7) of one lid (1) to be stacked on the lid (1) can be engaged in the depressions (6) of the lower lid (1). <IMAGE>
