A device for reducing longitudinal accelerations in motor vehicles for the driveline

A reduction of the comfort-reducing vehicle longitudinal accelerations (bucking) due to oscillations in the driveline of motor vehicles can be achieved by means of a device with damping characteristic, without incurring the said disadvantages of known measures. The device comprises one or more chambers, filled with a hydraulic or other liquid/fluid, which are connected to one another by one or more valves. The valves are adjusted so that they open, resulting in slip, only at a certain pressure, for example in the event of torque peaks in the driveline. As a result, bucking oscillations are damped. It is possible to fit the device in existing design elements, for example into the flywheel.
