Device for pressure-dependent speed regulation in drilling and screwing machines

The switching on and off and also the speed/torque of a machine are controlled and regulated pressure-dependently. The device can be used on stationary or movable machines. In conventional machines, the screwing attachment can slip off and damage screw and screwing attachment, on account of incorrect speed or inappropriate pressure. Further, the rotation of the machine starts only after the drive has been manually switched on. To remedy this, the device which controls and regulates the drive pressure-dependently is built onto or into the machine. The drive is switched on only when there is sufficient pressure on, for example, a screw. If the pressure increases during the screwing operation, the speed and torque also increase. This has the advantage that damage to, for example, screw and screwing device is prevented. The screwing operation itself is facilitated since, through such a device, the screwing begins automatically and furthermore the screwing operation is interrupted if, owing to insufficient pressure on the screw, the screwing attachment slips off. Figures 1 and 2 show the principal steps in the use of the device and the effect of sensory analysis and regulation on the drive of a machines, respectively. <IMAGE>
