Machine-table clamp

A machine-table clamp for securing a workpiece in position on a machine table. The machine-table clamp comprises a housing, a pressure element rotatably mounted about an axis in the housing and having a pressure arm projecting from an opening in the housing and a rotary rim carrying the pressure arm, a pressure spindle mounted in the housing and engaging in a peripheral toothing section of the rotary rim, and dirt wipers which are arranged in the area of the opening, start from the transverse margins of the opening and in each case bear on a cylindrical surface section of the rotary rim coaxial to the rotation axis and lying in each case between an extension of the clamping arm and the toothing section. In order to improve this machine-table clamp in such a way that optimum sealing between the pressure element and the housing can be achieved in a simple manner from the production point of view, it is proposed that, starting from side edges of the opening, a gap extending between these side edges and the pressure element into the housing be closed by a collar which encloses the dirt wipers.
