In order to reduce the amount of disposable products in laboratories, the invention proposes a cassette (1) for tissue samples, especially for use in pathology and histology, which can at least partially be re-used. The lid part (2) of the cassette (1) is hinged on one side to the lower part (3) for flipping open or closed.
