The present invention relates to a stabilised moulding composition comprising polyethylene having a mean molecular weight of from 10<5> to 10<7> g/mol, containing antioxidants and tocopherol, in particular alpha -tocopherol or a derivative thereof, to a process for the preparation thereof, and to the use thereof.
