Portable air-cleaning apparatus for prams and persons suffering from allergies

Children carried in prams are only very poorly protected against environmental influences (pollen, noxious dust particles, smoke, organic gases and vapours, asbestos, and the like). This also applies to people suffering from allergies and even entirely healthy people who wish to protect themselves, e.g. in road traffic or at the work place, from the previously described substances which are damaging to health. To date, this could only be achieved by a breathing mask, which constituted a great hindrance to breathing. Especially with children, a breathing mask is scarcely usable. The portable air-cleaning apparatus blows, by motor, the cleaned air through a filter directly into the vicinity of the air passages. The excess pressure resulting thereby keeps the polluted external air away. This effect is considerably intensified by a protective covering for the pram or by a face protector for adults. Areas of application: At the workplace, when walking, in hospitals, when insulating with glass wool, during demolition work of asbestos facades, in road traffic, in parking garages, during lacquering, varnishing and the like, in nursing homes, and animal breeding, or veterinary surgeons, for refuse collection, in catering, at large events, in joiners' workshops, during the pollen season, wherever dust and vapours arise.
