<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to diagnose borderline lesion of mammary cancer and benign disease or to make it possible to judge a cancer occurring in a certain tissue to be caused by multiplication of a cell of mammary cancer, by using a monoclonal antibody which is reacted with one of myoepithelial cell or tubular epitheliocyte of lactiferous gland. CONSTITUTION:A mammal such as mouse, rat, etc., is immunized against a cell of mammary cancer or an antigen obtained from it and B cell is collected from a spleen of the laboratory animal. Then, it is successively subjected to fusion process, screening process, cloning process, hybridoma culture process and, if necessary, separating and purifying process to give the aimed antibody. A culture solution or ascites containing the antibody is added to thin pieces of lactiferous gland tissue and the tissue is dyed. When the antibody is an anti-human lactiferous gland myoepithelial cell monoclonal antibody, only the myoepithelial cell positioning at the outside of a double structure of lactiferous gland epithelial tissue is dyed in brown.</p> |
