<p>2.1. In the production of packs having folding tabs connected by means of glue, especially (soft)-cup packs for cigarettes, it is necessary to keep the packs just finished for some time in an environment maintaining or improving the shape, before the packs are cleared in order to be conveyed away. What is used for this is an elongate pack tube (31), into which the finished packs (20) are pushed at one end (push-in orifice 32) and which they leave on the opposite side (exit orifice 33) after a somewhat long dwell time. The pack tube (31) has a cross-section stabilising or improving the cross-sectional shape of the pack (20). 2.2. A plurality of pack tubes (31) are mounted next to one another on the conveyor (tube conveyor 41). The pushing in and exit of the packs (20) take place during the continuous transport of the endless tube conveyor (41). 2.3. When the packs (20) enter a pack tube (31), a band (26) can be supplied, this being wrapped in a U-shaped manner round the forward-pointing end face (23) of the pack (20) as a result of the push into the pack tube (31). <IMAGE></p> |
