The invention relates to a liquid filter having a housing (18) having a filter chamber (19) within which a horizontal drum (25) is rotatably mounted, which drum has a support piece (31) following the drum circumference and a filter element (32) lying on the support piece (31) and which subdivides the interior of the filter chamber (19) into a dirt chamber (33) situated outside the drum (25) to which the medium to be filtered can be fed, and a clean chamber (34) formed within the drum (25), from which the filtered medium can be discharged via an outlet (35). The support piece (31) extends circumferentially over the entire drum circumference and is a fixed component of the drum (25). The filter element (32) is designed as a cylindrical drum casing (38) and, in this case, as a permanent filter element and is fixedly, but exchangeably, connected to the drum (25). A drive device (40) is assigned to the drum (25) for rotary drive. In addition, a discharge device (50), discharging the particles filtered off, a scraper device (60) cleaning the drum casing (38) and a cleaning device (70) in the drum interior are provided, to which can be fed a pressurised liquid for cleaning the drum casing (38). <IMAGE> |
