The invention relates to a device having an automatic firing unit (1) for driving a blower (3) belonging to this device, having a blower drive (2) and a fuel pump (5), likewise belonging to this device and having a fuel pump drive (4). The automatic firing unit (1) has a programmer (20) which controls and monitors a start-up procedure and continuous operation. According to the invention, the blower drive (2) and the fuel pump drive (4) are controllable-speed motors, whose rotational speed is individually controlled by the programmer (20), the desired values of the rotation speeds being stored in a desired value memory (22). Associated data are stored, for various operating conditions, for the desired rotational speeds of blower drive (2) and fuel pump drive (4). <IMAGE> |
