[Class 135] In a valve assembly for plural chambered tubes in which a conical seating 26 has a plurality of ports 16, 18 a conical valve 25 is carried by an extension formed by inner and outer metal parts 20, 21, connected by a flexible rubber portion 22. The valve 25 has a lateral port 27 leading to a bore 23 in the extension and in the latter is a non-return valve 24. The valve is adjusted towards its seat by axial movement of the extension by a screw-threaded member 28. In a modification the valve is rotatably secured to the extension and the port 27 is replaced by an annular clearance between the valve and the extension.
