<p>PURPOSE:To provide a swash plate compressor with a piston of which machining accuracy at its shoe support section can be increased and of which form allows easier machining of its shoe support section. CONSTITUTION:A piston 50 of a swash plate compressor is provided with a shank run-off 52 cut from a shoe support section 51 to the outer surface of the piston 50 in the direction crossing the Y-direction of a piston axis. The cross-section of the shank run-off 52 provides a semi-circular arc shape. The shoe support section 51 corresponds to the shank run-off section 52 in machining. As a result, any deflection of a machining tool is not generated in machining and, therefore, the piston can be machined accurately.</p> |
