PURPOSE:To stabilize invalid length of reading on the front and rear ends of a document, and improve reading accuracy of the document CONSTITUTION:Documents 1 are separated by means of a feed roller 2 and a separating roller 3 so that only one sheet may be transported and, when the document 1 is separated from an actuator 8, because of existence of a presser member 10 to press the rear end, height of the front end of the actuator 8 at separating the rear end from the actuator 8 is fixed regardless of the upward curl or the downward curl of the document 1, and the reading completion position of the rear end of the document 1 is made constant. |
