PURPOSE:To provide a container for drink having a novel shape which permits a direct touch of a mouth for drinking with an excellent mounth feeling. CONSTITUTION:A container for drink is formed of a paper cup 2 which has a body wall made of section-shaped blank plate of packing material which includes a paper layer as a main part and a bottom closing part formed in a flat rectangular and mounted on a lower part of the body wall, and a lid 3 of synthetic resin having a round cylinder 31 to be fitted into an upper part of the paper cup 2 around a top plate 32 and fitted and adhered to the upper part of the paper cup 2. A thin part defining an opening area and a pull ring 38 extending from the opening area adjacent to the thin part are provided on the top plate 32. An opening of the container can be easily done only by pulling up the pull ring 38. Further, by designing the opening area to be large, a direct touch of a mouth with the opening area is possible, which eliminate a need to use a straw or the like. In addition a mouth feeling is excellent. |
