PURPOSE:To obtain excellent damage resistance wherein visible light reflection density shows specific values respectively before and after thermal printing, in a matter obtained by applying a heat responding resin composition comprised of a resin particle which becomes transparent by heating and transparent thermoplastic resin binder onto the base. CONSTITUTION:A heat sensitive recording material to be used for a printer or a facsimile performing recording an image or a letter by inducing heat is opaque under the normal temperature and possesses a heat sensitive recording layer constituted by applying heat responding resin composition constituted of a resin particle which becomes transparent by melting or fusing through heating and transparent thermoplastic resin binder onto a base having visible light absorption capacity. Visible light reflection density of the heat sensitive recording material such as this is set up so that it does not exceed 0.2 before thermal printing and at least 1.35 after the thermal printing. As for a matter provided with the heat sensitive layer comprised by applying the heat responding composition to the base having infrared ray absorption capacity, its infrared reflection rate is set up so that it becomes at least 30% before the thermal printing and not exceeding 10% after the thermal printing. |
