<p>PURPOSE:To improve the general purpose properties of a body by a method wherein a spacer with an extension groove for entrance of a striker independently formed is located in a gap provided between the inner surface of the corner part on the indoor side of an inner panel and a lock body. CONSTITUTION:When a lock body 5 is diverted to a door 3 having different thickness, the size of a gap 31 provided between a corner part 7 of an inner panel 4 and the lock body when a engaging position 32 between a latch and a striker 2 is matched with the center, in the direction of thickness, of the door 3 is predicted and according to the size of the gap, a spacer 6 with an extension groove for entrance of a striker is formed. The lock body 5 to which the spacer 6 is attached is locked to the inner panel 4 such that an engagement position 32 between the latch and the striker 2 is caused to coincide with center, in the direction of thickness, of the door 3.</p> |
