<p>PURPOSE:To provide a paper feed device by which paper feed from a paper sheet receiving part is smoothly performed by means of a simple structure by providing a changeover means to change over a projecting posture to project a paper sheet regulating member regulating the width direction of a sheet from a transport passage according to the size of a sheet, and a receiving posture not to project from the transport passage. CONSTITUTION:A paper sheet cassette 15 is mounted in a copying machine main body. At this time, the projecting body 35 of the paper sheet cassette 15 abuts on the moving body 36 of a paper sheet regulating member 33 corresponding to the paper sheet size so as to rotationally move the moving body, the regulating body 42 of the paper sheet regulating member is projected over a paper sheet guide 17, and energized to the position B to be a projecting posture. When a paper sheet 22 is not delivered in parallel with the transport direction due to dispersion of delivery by a paper feed roller 16 or the like, the paper sheet regulating member 33 is projected from the paper sheet guide 17 so as to regulate the width direction of the paper sheet 22 in parallel with the paper sheet transport direction, and hence the paper sheet is transported without oblique feed by means of the paper sheet regulating member 33.</p> |
