PURPOSE:To improve oil resistance and plasticizer resistance, by method wherein in a heat sensitive recording material which has used heating and color development reaction by electron donating colorless dyes and electron accepting compound, a compound to be represented by a specific structural formula is allowed to be contained as electron accepting compound. CONSTITUTION:In a heat sensitive recording material to be used for a facsimile, printer, bar code label for which heating and color development reaction of donating colorless dyes and an accepting compound is used, and a specific phosphorous compound to be represented by a structural formula as stated eleswhere is used as the accepting compound. For example, a single or a mixture of at least two kinds out of a leuco compound based on triphenyl methane, fluorane, phenothiazine, or auramine, etc., is used as electron donating colorless dyes. Then the other electron accepting compound such as 4, 4'-isopropylidene disphenol or 4, 4'-diphenol sulfon can be used together with the above-mentioned accepting compound. |
