<p>PURPOSE:To reduce a tracking lag length by correcting a distance between a specific point detector and a stand in consideration of a distance corresponding to a lag time based on a sampling cycle in proportion with a passing speed. CONSTITUTION:The specific point detector 3 is installed in the front side of a mill 1 and a distance L0 from the detector 3 to the mill 1 is tracked as a set length. A touch roll and a pulse generator PLS1 are equipped to detect the moving quantity of the steel sheet 1 and to detect the specific point on the steel sheet 1. A detected signal is inputted into a computing element 4 and a tracked data is processed. At this time, a distance corresponding to the delay time due to the sampling period of the computing element is considered according to the passing speed V and the distance between the specific point detector 3 and the stand 2 is corrected to converge the tracking lag length to zero. Efficiency and yield are improved in each stage.</p> |
