<p>PURPOSE:To protect confidentiality of printing information by providing a re-printing control means which again reads out stored information and makes a printing means perform printing and a forbidding means which makes a re-printing action by the re-printing control means invalid. CONSTITUTION:A timer is started (S10). If a re-printing cancel key is not depressed (S11: No) and a re-printing key is depressed (S12: Yes), a re-printing action is performed. Namely, by taking access to a CPU, image information remaining in an image buffer is read out by the amount of one page. The information is transmitted to a laser printer through a printer engine interface, and a re-printing action is carried out. After completion of re-printing, the process advances to a step S16, wherein the value of the timer is reset and the timer is again started and returns to the step S11. At this time, if a prescribed time elapses without any instruction inputted to a printer (S14: Yes), image information stored in the mage buffer of a RAM phase is erased and cannot be re-printed.</p> |
