<p>PURPOSE:To easily execute observation or visualization of a living body tissue by inputting a tomographic image photograped by an ultrasonic diagnostic device to a computer, calculating its image data and displaying a three- dimensional image on the surface of a layer and a desired tomographic image on the same screen. CONSTITUTION:With regard to plural cross sections being parallel to each other, of a living body tissue, ultrasonic tomographic image data are formed by using an ultrasonic diagnostic device 10, respectively, and its tomographic image data are recorded in an image memory of a control substrate 13 at every cross section. Subsequently, this recorded tomographic image data are fetched to a RAM of a computer 14, a layer surface position in each cross section of the living body tissue is detected, and layer surface coordinate data are formed, respectively. Next, the layer surface coordinate data in each formed cross section are subjected to coordinate transformation, and three-dimensional coordinate data of every cross section is formed. Thereafter, a three-dimensional image for showing a layer surface position in each cross section of the living body tissue by the coordinate data, and a tomographic image related to a desired cross section are displayed on the same screen 14c.</p> |
